They said the nordic countries were a little boring, but I'd love to go! I was amazed at how expensive they were though, from $50 for lunch, to $120 for a room for the night.

One thing I am impressed with Germany about is the size of the country, the size of their economy and the number of internet users they have. I'm curious whether they have as impressive broadband rates as South Korea, which also boasts a lot of internet users.

Germans have their own wonderful language, but many of the citizens speak English as well. The top level domain for Germany is ".de" for Deutschland. Like the north and south of the United States during the civil war, Germany was once divided by the East and West. That is no longer the case, and the Berlin wall is now long gone. In the United States, people sill speak of the Mason-Dixon line which was the dividing line to some degree between the north and the south.

Today their continues to be a subtle distance and disconnect between Northerners and Southerners to some degree. I wonder if such a thing exists between East and West Germans.
